Dec. 29: Most of you know this song from the monster 1978 hit by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Their version was a cover (with an extra “m” in the first word of the title). The first cut was made a few years earlier by the guy who wrote it, Ed Bruce. I like their record, but his is good, too. Take a listen, in honor of Bruce’s 70th birthday today.
